This is the new avatar of the CRI Magazine, Religious India.
Its target audience is religious, priests and lay leaders.
We are delighted that, of the five titles we were required to present to the Registrar of Newspapers, Delhi, the once the government assigned to us was MAGNET.
May this magazine be a MAGNET drawing readers with useful, relevant, attractive and quotable contents. May it be a magnetic force uniting people, attracting readers to what is good and life-giving.
Our survey among religious showed that it was not advisable to carry on publishing Religious India in the earlier form.
Hence this new and very different product.
New writers, new contents, new size, new design.
And new frequency: We plan to bring it out every month, not every two months.
With so many magazines in print and an almost unlimited variety of reading material on the Internet, today’s reader wants stuff that is interesting, attractive, practical and reasonably brief.
Does this magazine meet those criteria?
Read it.
Tell us what you think.
We are blessed to get inputs from good writers.
We made sure to have a distinguished Editorial Board. I shall introduce them later, or on our Website.
So, too, every one of the names under “International Consultants” is respected for competence and wide experience. They have promised to give us regular feedback, helping us ensure quality, as well as a global vision.
We are willing to take any amount of trouble to put a nourishing and delicious “fruit salad” on your table every month.
Please tell us whether you find it tasty and worth recommending to others. And if there are other items we need to add to the menu.
The sample issue we prepared to show the CRI National Executive and the CBCI Standing Committee had an enthusiastic welcome. You can see some of the reactions on the “Letters” page.
We look forward to hearing from you.
There are more features coming—on areas like Finance, Candles in the Dark, Interviews, Technology, One Day in the Life of…, etc. You have lots to look forward to. This first issue is just an appetizer.
May you enjoy the magnetic pull and power of MAGNET.
May it help you to be a positive magnet in your setting.
May it help its readers to dream big, love much and make a difference.
I look forward to hearing from you.
