Major Superiors meet in Karnataka
120 Major Superiors of the Karnataka Region met in Mt. St. Joseph, Bangalore. On August 26-28. Theme: “Consecrated to Be Merciful.” It included a fruitful meeting with the bishops of the region. Concrete plans for the “Road Ahead” include: North Karnataka thrust, organ donation, watershed management in North Karnataka, convergence in issues addressing migration and domestic workers.
Grand Celebrations in honour of Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa Peace Rally with 10,000 youth and adults * Seminar for 1020 teachers on the theme, “Joy of Giving.” * Mass with 15 bishops, all the major superiors of North East India, 200 priests, 400 sisters and many other devotees. * Public function with the governor, former CMs, ministers, vice-chancellors, senior bureaucrats, professors, etc.
